Since the beginning of December, the Walloon Government has decided to modify the Business Cheques system in order to strengthen the budgetary sustainability of the system.
As a reminder, there used to be a “Diagnosis” cheque with a 75% subsidy rate and a maximum subsidy of €7,000, as well as a “Support” cheque with a 50% subsidy rate and a maximum subsidy of €15,000.
From now on, there will only be a “Transmission” cheque combining diagnosis and support, at a rate of 75% and with a maximum subsidy of €15,000.
In practical terms, the programme will be clearer with this single 75% rate cheque. It will still be possible to differentiate between diagnosis and support, as several applications may be made for the same cheque, as long as the maximum subsidy (€15,000) is not exceeded.
