The Lux Green group recently acquired Méga-fleurs, a garden centre specialising in the sale of flowers and plants, both potted and cut, as well as seeds, decorative items and small gardening tools.
Founded in 1997 by Sweygers-Reynders, this family business based in Verviers-Battice employs 17 people. This acquisition strengthens the chain of garden centres belonging to the Lux Green group, which already operates in Messancy, Marche-en-Famenne and Lontzen (Eupen).
Founded in 2000, Lux Green has annual sales in excess of €15 million and employs more than 100 full-time staff. In addition to the garden centre sector, the group is also active in the development of gardens and outdoor spaces for both the private and public sectors, as well as in the production of Christmas trees.
Lux Green operates not only in Belgium, but also in Northern France and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
Many thanks to Marc Sweygers and Maria Reynders for their confidence, and congratulations to Lux Green and its directors, Gregory Floener and Catherine Roiseux, on this fine acquisition.
