Founded in 1991, Cover Group is a company specialising in 3D computing. It is exclusively occupied with the development and distribution of the Cover 3D software package for external joinery.

Based in Tournai, it employs some 20 people and is considered a leader in the exterior joinery market in Belgium and France.

In 2022, Cover Group’s management had already appealed to FB Transmission to support them in an MBO (Management Buy-Out) to buy back all the shares. Christof Hullaert gradually bought out his partners’ shares until he became the company’s sole shareholder.

To accelerate Cover Group’s growth by providing it with all the necessary resources, he felt it would be advantageous to be supported by a bigger player. Christof Hullaert therefore decided to ask FB Transmission to find him a strategic partner in late 2023.

Founded by Otium Capital in Paris, Comet Software is a group of professional software publishers that grows by acquiring majority stakes in companies in the sector and investing in ther development of these companies.

With a consolidated turnover of €14 million, Comet Software continues to grow, respecting the entrepreneurial DNA of the companies it acquires and providing them with operational and financial support to accelerate their long-term growth.
